Linda Dombovy

Linda Dombovy, 63 year old resident of Foley, passed away unexpectedly at her home.  A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Brennyville with Father Tom Olson officiating. The burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service on Tuesday at the church.

Linda Jean Dombovy was born on Oct. 25, 1960, in Little Falls to the late Henry and Ellen (Fisher) Dombovy.  The family made their home near Foley, where Linda attended and graduated from Foley High School. She worked at Gorecki’s Manufacturing from 1979 until her retirement in 2019. She enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins, reading, puzzles, playing bingo and board games with her sisters and adopted sister, Linda Tadych. She attended St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and served on the church board for several years.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Sandy Block of Hillman, JoAnn (Tim) Lee of Foley; brothers, Russell (Kathy) Dombovy of Brainerd, Hank (Camille) Dombovy of Pierz and Leonard Dombovy of Pierz; sister-in-law, Karen Dombovy of Brainerd; nephews, Nathan Block and David Dombovy and a niece, Rhea Block.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ellen Dombovy; brother, Kenneth Dombovy and a brother-in-law, Roger Block.

A luncheon will follow at the Ramey Lutheran Church Hall.
