Foley business receives bomb threat

The town that gave him wings

FOLEY – On March 29, Gerald Viste turned 100 years old, but his status as a centenarian is only the latest accomplishment in the 36,507 days since he was born. Even to this day, 82 years after leaving Foley, Viste credits his stomping grounds for the unshakeable foundation it provided him in leading a life of excellence. From the classroom at Harvard University to the cockpit of a fighter jet to the plush office he inhabited as a business leader, Viste lived a life defined by ambition, intellect and service to his country.
