Sharon Beehler, age 82, of Foley, passed away May 10, 2024, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2024, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Foley.  The Rev. George Sagissor will officiate and burial will take place at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 16 and 10-11 a.m. Friday, May 17, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

Sharon Martha Beehler was born May 6, 1942, in St. Cloud to Gilbert and Virginia (Behrendt) Tarnowski. She attended Tech High School and married Donald Beehler Nov. 18, 1961, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Foley. Along with farming with her husband, Sharon worked for the Foley School District as a special education assistant and a foster grandparent. She also worked for Fingerhut and Merrill Corp. Sharon was actively involved in 4-H for 50 years. Mostly, Sharon was proud of farming beside her husband for many years. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the foster grandparent program at the Foley Public Schools.

She is survived by her husband, Donald of Foley; children Tammy (Steven) Goertz of Long Prairie, Dawn (Mark) Johnson of Willmar, Randy of Foley, Ginger of Fort Myers, Kimberly of Oakdale; daughter-in-law, Donita Beehler of Sauk Rapids; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; brother Gene (Jill) Tarnowski of Champlain; sister Joanne Moser of Foley; as well as half brothers and sisters Tom (Starla) Tarnowski, Sheri Wilson, Jean Brewer, Michelle Siebert, Tammy Tarnowski and Gary Tarnowski; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Kenny Beehler, half brother Tim Tarnowski, nephew Kevin Hirdler, and two great-grandchildren Madelyn & Alic Goertz.
