Our loving son, brother, friend, husband and father of two, Andrew “Drew” Knapp, was born July 25, 1983, and left us unexpectedly Nov. 6, 2023, at the age of 40.
He will be laid to rest at his family’s lake home in Grand Rapids. A place he loved with all his heart.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sara (Stackhouse) Knapp; their two children, Chase and Haley; Andrew’s parents, Margaret (Kain) Eriksen (Stein); Andrew’s siblings, Jennifer Raether (Greg), Harmony Knowles (Chris), Molly Pena (Frankie), David Knapp (Marisol); Sara’s parents, Daniel and Jodie Stackhouse; Sara’s siblings, Jeremiah Stackhouse, Joshua Stackhouse (Krystal), Starr Sorheim (Trevor); and eight nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by his five grandparents and his beloved black lab, Libby.
Drew lived in Osseo growing up. He acquired an applied science degree in computer programming and was dedicated to his job at New Frontier Services. He and his family love being teammates and a part of the Jiu Jitsu community at Start BJJ.
To honor Drew Knapp’s memory, we are hosting a celebration of his life from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, at 309 28th Ave. N., St. Cloud, MN 56301. Food and drinks will be provided. We invite anyone who knew him to attend and remember his wonderful life. This is a relaxed visitation so feel free to arrive casual as this is how Drew would have liked it.
