Bob Rothfork, age 64, of Foley, died unexpectedly on Nov. 16, 2024. A visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, at the Foley Funeral Home, concluding with a prayer service at 7 p.m. The Rev. Michael Wolfbauer will officiate. Private burial will take place at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Foley. Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.
Robert John Rothfork was born Jan. 2 ,1960, in St. Cloud, to Gordon and Betty (Stull) Rothfork. He graduated from Foley High School, class of 1978. He worked most his life and co-owned Foley Farm Supply and also worked as a self-employed truck driver until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and taking many vacations with friends and family, going to the casino and cooking, especially soup which he shared with family. Mostly, Bob enjoyed spending time with his children, nieces and nephews and most importantly his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Roxy of Foley and his children, shared with Kim Ripplinger: Danielle (Brian) Baker of Maple Grove; Cassidy Rothfork (Kris DeMarais) of Foley; Taylor (Shana) Rothfork of Foley; step-daughter, Sarah (Cory) Trebesch of Redwood Falls and grandchildren: Kylie Shultz, Shelby Shultz, Hailey Shultz, Hunter Trebesch, Lyndsy Trebesch, Leighton Baker, Jensen Baker, Crew DeMarais, Keaton DeMarais, Burke DeMarais, Rorie Rothfork and Taytum Rothfork as well as brothers and sisters: Mike (Wendy) Rothfork of Hackensack; Dave (Joan) Rothfork of Foley; Judy (DeWaine) Fenna of Foley; Theresa (Ashley) Kornovich, Rosemount, Mary Jo (Doug) Woolf of Johnston, Iowa.; Jill Rothfork of St. Cloud, brothers-in-laws: Gary (Buffie) Ruhr of Bigstone, South Dakota; David Woods of Milbank, South Dakota; Johnny (Shelby) Ruhr of Milbank, South Dakota; sisters-in-laws, Jodi (Tim) Ruhr of Milbank, South Dakota and Mary Rothfork of South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Betty, brother Steve and sister, Amy Rothfork.
